Account and Data Deletion
Effective date: April 20, 2026. This page explains how to delete your Epsu account and what gets removed.
1. In-app deletion path
In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account. Epsu asks you to confirm your password before deletion.
2. If you cannot access the app
Email epsu.site@protonmail.com from the email address tied to your account and write Account deletion request in the subject line.
3. What deletion removes
Account deletion removes your auth account and profile-linked records, including notifications, reactions, reports filed by you, memberships, suggestions, school applications, subscriptions, push tokens, account requests, and posts authored by your account.
4. What may remain temporarily
Normal infrastructure backups or provider recovery windows may persist temporarily after deletion. This does not mean your live posts remain visible until their normal expiry cycle: under the current backend, your authored posts are deleted as part of the account-deletion flow.
5. When deletion is blocked
You cannot delete your account while you still manage an Epsu. Resolve that management status first, then try again.
